veterans day

my friend breanna, her dad served in the marines. and so everytime i think of a veteran, i think of him. and my uncle. he served in the navy. but i think its neat that veterans have a special day just for them. because they go through a lot to protect our freedom. because, like the movie said, freedom isnt free. nothing is. but especially freedom. we had to work freedom. we didnt just wake up one morning and have it sitting on our doorstep. im thankful for the people that defend our freedom. because if they didnt, we would have been taken over and we would probably be like slaves or something. and that would suck.
